The Miami Heat is on!!
#81
Hi,
One thing I really don't understand is people claiming the Heat are somehow underdogs? That they did something amazing by getting past the Celtics... in 7? What? Shouldn't that have been a five game series with some R&R booked in South Beach?
I don't 'hate' Miami for how this has all happened, teams want to win, this team has been assembled to win a championship. I almost feel sorry for them, that this year won't even be a real championship if they do win, there will forever be an asterisk against this seasons page in the history books.
I'm looking forward to the series, and I want basketball to win, for all our sakes.
I want the officials to officiate, instead of trying to insert themselves into the game.
I don't know who I'm actually supporting. But, I'm not one to fence sit - so I want OKC to win, but I can't see the Heat losing.
Cheers,
Nik

While the Heat on the other hand struggled against team geriatrics/Celtics.

oh and if we use YOUR idea of stats, sure looks to me like Pau became a MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE player since all of his stats regarding FT% Shooting % 3pt % all hit career highs... God for the sake of the people in your area i hope your really not a DR

Personal attack. Nice.

Where's the personal attack? Don't be a pussy. That's too much like LeBron.

nothing personal, just the truth.

ok i don't have the bandwidth left to go through each stat, but i took what MOST people consider to be the BIG 3 and did an avg between Memphis and LA
POINTS
Memphis :18.8
LA :18.5
Rebounds
Memphis:8.8
LA: 9.75
Assist
Memphis: 3
LA : 3.43
So while he is averaging oh so slightly less points, he avg more REB and ASST since moving to LA.
By the way, using the playoffs as a comparison is ridiculous as he never made it out of the 1st round in memphis (swept usually) and played 10+ games every year in LA.
