If Arsenal sign Kalou, then it's almost certain they wont be in the top 4 next year.

French side Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a huge 150m euros bid for Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.

Tottenham attacker Rafael van der Vaart looks to be heading out of White Hart Lane after Schalke launched a £10m-plus move for the Netherlands international.

Arsenal want to offer Salomon Kalou a chance to stay in the Premier League by pinching the striker, who has been released by Chelsea, from under the noses of Schalke.

150M euros for Rooney is laughable.

Why on earth would he want to play for PSG?

He has enough trouble fiddling his tax in the UK, the new French President is planning to introduce a 75% tax on the rich, can't see Rooney wanting to pay that!

Spurs really need to make sure they don't have their whole team robbed this summer, which might not be easy.

The only French team he might play for is Monaco.

No way Rooney goes to France. He'd fit in better in the Aussie league with the rest of those penal colony ruffians...

Seriously, Rooney will retire a Red Devil. He's not going anywhere unless they get a new gaffer that hates him.

I think Spurs will lose pace next year, they'll lose Modric, maybe Van der Vart, and eventually Bale. Then where will they be. Missing out on the CL will really cost them.

Modric.

Proven Premier League player, also good in Europe, would fit in well to the current squad.

Schneider would be more of a risk and I don't think that is what Sir Alex is looking for right now, he needs stability and reliability from a team that will win the league next year, hopefully contend well in Europe then he can retire and enjoy his Horse Racing.

Can I just say as well that this is by far the best forum to discuss football on.

Any other forum I use when it comes to football is a nightmare, full of die hard fans refusing to believe any player would want to play for any club apart from theirs, lots of childish bickering and name calling as well as pages and pages of utter, utter bull.

On here, it is light hearted, well thought out and reasoned posting.

So give yourselves a well deserved pat on the back and let's keep it up.
