Bandwagoners actually turn me off of teams. Those who know me personally know I've supported Barca forever, and 1/2 of my wife's family is from that region, but...
I gotta say I'm getting really sick of everyone and their dog around here (VA/DC) having giant Barca stickers all over everything, and the blue and red jerseys everywhere. It's worse than the stupid Miami Heat jerseys everybody has on.
What makes me REALLY mad is when I go up to these people wearing jerseys and try to make small talk about the team and they know exactly one thing about Barcelona: Messi plays for them. I'm all for people clinging to greatness and winners (keep hating guys!) but I gotta admit I'm getting kind of super tired of all the fake fans. I hate being associated with them. It doesn't diminish my pride in the accomplishments of the team, but it does upset me.
I hate to suggest it, but I'd like to see some losses - just to shake off the riff-raff!

^ I couldnt agree more.
I guarantee as soon as this team starts breaking up, and arent as succesful as they are right now, people will jump ship so fast.
I think your right about the over saturation thing around here too. It just seems trendy to like Barca.

Expected results once again.
The 1st penalty was clear as water.
2nd one is doubtful, as i suspect the ball was not in play. And puyol fouled Nesta to.
Given that the 2nd penalty was awarded Milan should have been awarded one aswell for the Zlatan situation.
But all in all Barca was better, and controlled the game from the start.
Bayern..
Well let me say this, if they make the final on Allians Arena, they will win the whole thing.

I didnt originally see the Puyol block, which was definately a foul on Nesta, but Nesta was tugging the jersey the whole time too. They should probably have just cancelled each other out, and a free kick given to AC Milan.

Pure Evo, great post.
Personally however, at least here in Sweden among people who care about football I have noticed a huge decline in barca fans. This of course is also because Zlatan doesn't play there anymore. I used to like Barca myself some 4-5 years ago actually.
The reason I just can't stad them anymore is because they are just so boring to watch. I'm not deying they are the best team in the world and have been for quite some time, the results speak for themselves. They dominate almost every game, but they don't dominate the way other teams do. Look at when Germany dominated England or Argentine in the World cup 2010. Or when Bayern dominated Basel, or when ManU dominates some team in PL. If you are a neutral spectator, those games despite not being thrillers can still be fun to watch and entertaining.
The difference is, Barca dominates by having A LOT of possesion and passing around, but it's not really fun to watch is it? There's just no excitement. Just pass after pass after pass around the opponents penalty area.
