Chris, I agree, the away goal most probably will end up deciding who moves on. Bayern played very well though and the match in Madrid will be very entertaining football.

Barca is up for a real challenge tomorrow, it should be a great match. I'm sure the usual whining brats from this thread will be out in force afterwards making stupid allegations either way. Should be good reading.

Fair enough. I can understand Barca fans being sick of all the people always complaining and whining about Barca. Anyhow, hopefully It'll be an interesting game tomorrow so the return game can be "alive".

now THAT is how a referee does NOT change the way a semi-final is decided!! the two penalty cries for Bayern looked legit to me in real time, up until it was blatantly clear in the replays that neither was. well done Mr Webb

offside 1st goal, obstructing keeper's sight, handball on the corner cross, imho they all did not MAKE the goal so it stands and it was a deserved effort

well played Bayern, great reserve in the back although some of the spaces left open were ridiculous but that just shows the attacking approach i guess

great game, great football, and great sportsmanship on both sides
the players pleaded to the refs in the NORMALLY ALLOWED manner, and Webb rightfully yellow carded Higuain the second he tried to force his decision making

excited for tomorrow's chelsea barca match and can only hope for zero drama that is non-football related!

 

Told you guys bayern are not to be under estimated.
On the other hand that one goal Real did, could end up hurting Bayern next week.

Tomorrow, i do not think Chelsea stands a chance, sadly.

Mark my words: 2-0 to Madrid @ the Bernebeu. I think Chelsea will win one leg 3-2, but Barca will go through 6-4 on aggregate. Madrid-Barca final will be decided by the referee. You heard it here first.

That said, Howard Webb did a great job on the no-calls. He was very lenient with the discipline calls though.
