I've always heard that Pep isnt about the money and that he wants to take a break after this year, but I would take this in a heartbeat if I was him. He can take a break in a few years.

Also, it will be his chance to really cement himself as one of the best coaches around. I respect what he has done at Barca, but to put him in the same league as Mourinho and Sir Alex is a joke. I could take over at Barca for a year and I bet we'd win something (my tactical decisions are second to none )

 

Comparing Guardiola to Mourinho is like comparing Messi to... well, anything.

 

I think Guardiola is a great coach, but I think he has something more to prove before you can put him in the pantheon of greats. Mourinho might not be a likeable character, but he gets results wherever he goes....just look at Inter.
