I really like a lot of the teams in the quarters. AC Milan has the Swede Ibrahimovic so obviously I hope they go far. I'm also rooting for Bayern since they are from Germany (<3) and RM because I like Mourinho (lol).

But all my love for these teams united is not even half of my loath for Barcelona. I will be very happy for any of my 3 favourite teams to win the CL. But the joy of winning will be nothing compared to the joy of seeing Barcelona lose. My entire focus for CL is on hoping for Barca to lose. That's all I really care about.

 

We're in agreement here. When I first "discovered" football (remember, in America, that means a pigskin, not a round ball), I was a senior in HS and my mentor was a huge RM fan. So I became an RM fan (this is in 1990). Then I watched Italia '90 and I was hooked. Now I like them because I hate Barca, I like CR7, and I'm a big fan of the Special One.

As for Bayern, I started supporting them after they lost to Man U in '99. We didn't get a lot of football on TV, even in 1999, so it was rare to hear about German teams.
