^ So much for us being on the comeback trail.
I think AVB is going to get the sack before Christmas. Beating Wolves 3-0 is great and all, but we cant do anything against a half decent team. Our defense has never looked so bad.
If we lose against Valencia I think he might get fired then.

Under Mourinho we were rock solid, the game was won before it even began.
Ugh, I blame Roman in all this, wanting to be like Barcelona, etc, etc. We had the best coach in the world, were winning trophies left and right and now we cant win anything, sucks.

It's definitely Roman's fault. Buying Torres was his idea too, just like Shevchenko. He thinks he knows what's better for the team than his coaches do and that's why it never works out for them.
Get a good coach and let him decide which players to acquire and what kind of team to build. That was Mourinhos demand before going to Real and now look at them. Players like Khedira and Özil were hardly high profile acquisitions but they fit perfectly and are now most likely worth 3 times what he paid for them.
If you got some rich guy with no clue who pulls all the strings you get a lot of famous names but hardly a team that works well together.

true that he has been interfering but it is his team and we did win the league 2yrs ago
that said i will say that the mentality of the players is not that of champions
the last time i remember them like that was under hiddink
the team has had great spells for sure and managed to beat tough competition but every week we go in hands on heart wondering which chelsea decides to show up
yes that is a manager's job and i do believe avb can be the one to do it
let's not forget who he brought in and what impact that has made
he can and if given time will build a great new chelsea side
but the mentality at the club needs to change

^ I hope you are right.
I'm wondering if some of the older players are the bad apples. Terry, Lampard, etc, maybe they arent taking him that seriously and undermining his efforts. I always get the feeling that Terry just does what he wants and that he doesnt really respect anyone.
