Actually I lied about ignoring non-game 3 stuff.

The NBA is definitely progressing. The quality as well as quantity of high-level players is higher than ever.

Like C Money said, look at any of the young teams and even the veteran teams.

I might catch a lot of shit for this, and by no means am I trying to detract from the greatness of magic/bird/kareem/any of the all-time NBA greats, but in today's game there are so many amazing players and so many more great defensive players that it's hard for each one to shine as much as guys from the past.

^And that's true for a lot of professional sports. The level of play now is way higher than in the past.

Big shot by Chalmers.

Lebron sucks for passing though. He should be more like MJ and Kobe and ignore the fact that Chalmers has been hot this whole series and just take it to the rack. Tisk tisk Lebron, superstars don't pass.

Any other team might be sunk right now, but the Mavs have more than proven themselves in the 4th quarter comeback category.

I saw Magic play in an exhibition game in my home city, he hit a buzzer beater to send the game against the Boomers to OT. I was way too young to even cloud my mind with ideas of a scripted game - it is one of my favourite sporting memories.

/cool story.

Miami are running tough. I love the belief in the Dallas crowd.

Magic had the unique ability to make every single person on the team want to play their absolute best, partially to not let him down, and also to avoid getting hit in the back of the head with a pass that would have otherwise been an easy shot. His talent was amazing and almost impossible to quantify with statistics. There will never be another player like him.

Dirk is stepping up again! I never thought he had it in him, especially after crumbling in the first round against GS after winning the MVP.

Edit: Nik, are you watching live?

Yes, just saw it live. I know the result, I won't say anything unless everyone else has seen it!

Well, Lebron definitely hasn't made a case for how great he is (I'm not going to lie and say he has) in the past 2 games. Had he made that shot it would've closed the door.

Dirk also missed a huge shot at the end too. A shot that he's made just about everytime he's taken it this post season.

Main idea here? All great players struggle and all great players miss the most important shot of the game sometimes.

What a great game! DWade played amazing! Dallas can't survive on having to make 7-13 point runs just to catch up all game.... Kidd and Berea missed some very makable shots over and over, but thats the game....

Game 4 should be another great game.
