That was definitely painful for me. While it was an incredibly stupid play by Ward, there were definitely chances where the Caps could have put the game away earlier - but didn't. Also, Ward scored the game 7 OT winner in Boston, so without him, this conversation wouldn't be happening. Everyone makes mistakes. Hopefully he's able to redeem himself Wednesday.

DEVIILLLSS WIN. Would love to face rangers in the next round, would really make it special. Could also be the last time ever competing to win the conference with the re-alignment possibly taking place next season.

New York played their best game of the series, and the Caps played their worst. It was especially evident on that horrendous power play with the called back goal. Congrats to the Rangers, and good luck in the next round!
