Couldn't watch the wings game tonight, but the highlights were great. If you've got a few minutes check them out. Wings had so many damn chances that just didn't slip through. Won it in OT with dirty shootout goals by Datsyuk and Zetterberg.
13 wins in a row at home. 100 wins for howard. 400 wins for Babcock.

As far as I know, it's all still rumors up in the air. They have some validity to them, due to some of the Wings upper management being in attendance at this years winter classic and a lot of talk throughout the NHL. Not to mention the wings are the perfect team for it
I've heard nashville, Ducks, Sharks, and Leafs are all possible opponents, as well as the avs in an attempt to reignite the rivalry that was.
On another note, I may need to head down state tomorrow. If so, I'll head down tonight and probably catch the Det/Chi game tomorrow afternoon. If it's anything like the last one it will be insane.

Nashville??? That is so wrong its not even funny...Ducks & Sharks also is a joke...Leafs make all the sense in the world. Point Finale.!!!

As cool as the original 6 leafs/wings game would be, how often are the leafs really competitive though? Plus, We see them once a year maybe? A conference or division rivalry between two competitive teams would be a much better game than original six, non conference, questionably competitive team.
