Honestly yes that chara hit was unfortunate, but I dont think he was trying to have that happen. I think I heard the announcer say, he was giving him a push off rather than a full hit since the puck was past already. I really think that just happened to be at a bad point on the boards.
Its always bad to see someone go down like that though, hope mp is up and going soon.
edit:doughty had a damn nice hit. Clean and huge.
