Scandals have always been around FIFA... whats new?

Sigh .

Though, to be fair, the buggers did kick Pittsburgh off the final list of locations. And once the charming allure of our fair city was lost, so too was the bid.

England and USA would have been epic. I would have tried to go to games at both of those.

Yes england really should have got that one, i hope the BBC goes after all the fifa members lol. I really dont understand qatar, getting it, no football history & not a place westerners really want to visit on the whole right now. One major city, too hot, security will be a nightmare. Cant see any fun factor for the fans. South africa was a terrible event tv wise, this could be worst. Sure they will build bright shiny stadiums but so what.

I doubt there will be much world sports in US in the future. Terrorism concerns and availability of visa to US are some key factors to sports organizers. Also, most sport these days are held in growths regions. With USA's GDP around 2%, we are at the bottom of that list. China, India and Brazil are all more likely.
