WTF is the world cup? Isn't that that big concert with those stupid horn thingies? I don't think that's any big loss...
Besides, at the last "World Cup" concert, the fans had to deal with some ruffians interupting the concert by kicking some silly ball around in the grass. I'd hate to think of what the kids in the US would do to interupt it!

Ya pretty much sucks... With Russia and Qatar winning, it pretty obvious they are looking to grow the sport, since both have very "small" followings currently. Won't lie Qatar, will probably go HUGE with this and by 2022 who knows what sort of crazy creations will be around (championship match played on a field 100 stories in the air).

The big scandal is that the Qataris and Russians bribed the hell out of FIFA. A lot of evidence points that way. Either way, I'm very disappointed it's not going to England or coming to the USA.
