Bowles is no slouch either. This could be awesome.
I still think Faber could've forced the TD's on Aldo and made it interesting on the ground w/him.
Honestly I'm sort of surprised Brown did as well as he did against Faber. Nothing taken away from Brown, but Faber sort of got on a careless, bad execution streak and gave away a few fights. He's way better than I've seen him perform in the last few bouts. Maybe his age is catching up, who knows. I don't think we've seen his mental game peak yet. Physically, he's incredible, but the head has to be totally tuned in, and if it is, I think he could be unbeatable for the next stretch.
That said, how freakin' sharp was Cruz against Mighty Mouse and Faber?!! Guy's on a serious tear. I'd actually like to see him go up a division. He could put some weight on and still be fast as hell.
These lighter weight div's are so incredibly stacked w/talent. I used to think Faber was it, then things started getting really interesting...
Anyhoo..Faber/Bowles should be killer. This should be Bowles' toughest bout ever. It's also an opp for Faber to show how sharp he is or not. If he loses this bout, I think he's got to think very hard about changing his camp up significantly.

another note...the Faber vs Aldo fight was one the hardest fights to watch...such a slow and painful as funk looking picking away at someone...Fabers leg looked DESTROYED the day after...lemmy fish up the vid you see it...
