Jones is really incredible, whether you like him or not. Anyone who has trained any kind of stand up can see the things he is doing in the ring are extremely difficult to pull off, try that sidestep to properly aim the spinning elbow, super awkward!
And, he isn't just replying on his physical tools. He's working on technique but also on proper strategy for opponents. The rampage fight lasted longer because Jones stuck to his guns and refused to engage in close range slugging, instead keeping him at bay and using his range + the threat of superior wrestling.
You heard Rampage, no excuses, he was at his best. Jones was just better, and he's 23. If he keeps his head in the game he's gonna be one of the greats.

I was there live watching him throw Bonnar like a piece of paper, and I went from "Who the hell is this guy?!!" to thinking I was watching a superstar emerge right there that night in front of us.
He's a one in a million athlete. Like Anderson Silva.
Btw, Silva's nearing 40, so I don't want to see him fight Jones and lose, he's proven himself enough. He should go out on top. Problem is, unless Rashad pulls off an upset, I don't see Jones having any serious competition in the division. It's a weird time. There's just nobody really there for him! Everyone's gotten old, and the young guns...there just seems to be a lull in development at LHW. Right?

A loss in his last fight wouldn't dimish what he has done, but I just dont like the idea of switching weight classes, etc just to see which champ is better.
