Tevez wasn't good enough for Fergie, I doubt he'd give United the time of day again.

If I was a Prem Manager, Tevez would be the first person on the team sheet for every single game. The guy has a great work ethic, he's a fantastic professional, and he does everything well on the field.

Tevez is that rare professional who is a great, skillful player, but he doesnt rely on that alone, he works hard, puts in a ton of effort, and that is a quality that a lot of pro's dont have.

Some of the latest headlines regarding the Rooney fallout:

'A LACK OF RESPECT': Manchester United are already preparing for Wayne Rooney's possible exit in January and have made inquiries about unsettled Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.
Full story: the Independent

'BETRAYAL': Ferguson said United have "always been a harbour" for Rooney, helping him with personal problems and with the manager even offering him financial advice.
Full story: the Guardian

'CHELSEA TO OFFER £20m FOR UNITED'S TALISMAN': Chelsea could make a £20m move for Rooney in January. Their offer would be well below Manchester City's expected bid of £35m but they believe Ferguson would be more willing to do business with them (Daily Telegraph).

'STARS HAVE TOO MUCH CLOUT': Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp joked that he would like to take advantage of Rooney's spectacular fall-out with Ferguson and buy the striker.
Full story: Daily Mirror

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, Schalke keeper Manuel Neuer and Lyon midfielder Yoann Gourcuff could all be on Manchester United's shopping list if they sell Rooney.

If we end up signing Rooney then I might have to get a Chelsea shirt with Rooney on the back and wear it to the Chick the next time we all hang out.

You bastards...

If he leaves, this will be proof I'm not a fair-weather United fan. Things are looking grim.

^ OT, but I have yet to see them play an inspired 90 minutes thus far and I'm disgusted.

Here we go, the latest:

Can you imagine Drogba and Rooney on the same team.

I do like the talk of Suaraz on Man U though, he'd be class on that team.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has rubber-stamped a deal to take Wayne Rooney to Stamford Bridge, making him one of the world's richest players. Abramovich could compete with Manchester City's £250,000-a-week package for the Manchester United striker but might offer only £20m for him.
Full story: Daily Mail

And Chelsea captain John Terry has invited Rooney to join him at the south-west London outfit after calling him "the best player in the world".
Full story: Daily Mirror

Rooney is open to the idea of joining Chelsea but the Blues will not go beyond £160,000 a week for the England international.
Full story: the Sun

Sources close to Abramovich say he is unwilling to break Chelsea's wage structure to sign Rooney, meaning the £150,000-a-week earned by defender John Terry and midfielder Frank Lampard is the limit. (Daily Express)

Rooney's wage demands are deterring Spanish giants Real Madrid from making a move for the player.
Full story: imscouting.com

Manchester United are lining up Ajax striker Luis Suarez as a replacement for Rooney - if the former Everton star quits Old Trafford. The Red Devils might have to pay £30m for the Uruguay international.
Full story: talkSPORT

United supporters believe Rooney's thinly veiled criticism of the Glazer family could mark the beginning of the end for the Americans' ownership of the club.
