Transfer Season Gossip Thread

Ha ha a trial at 20 is too late these days...
Chelsea can have Balotelli. They're accustomed to whiny prima-donnas (as Alex so accurately pointed out).
I still say Fergie should go for Thomas Muller. That guy is a HUGE talent. Mark my words - he will be a top-10 player in 3-4 years. I'd love to see him play off Rooney in the role Scholes used to occupy.
Henry in the MLS? I'm sure Steve is buying DC United season tickets (or at least tickets to all the matches against the Red Bulls). Henry is still a great striker - I wouldn't be surprised if he scores 30+ goals in the MLS.

I haven't seen any news on Muller, but I cant imagine he isnt on everyone's radar.

Chris, I had DC season tickets the first few seasons, right on the sideline, back in the John Harkes days. We went to team functions, saw the guys at the Taco Bell in Herndon all the time, etc. I kind of drifted away from the MLS, though, when Harkes left, Agoos, Presthus, Lassiter, etc. I follow the scores, that's about it.
BUT... I think we should definitely try to all go to the game when the NYC RB's are in town. I always wanted to see my former hero play in person. To bad it's not 2005!
