THE Laker thread

Oh, and Kobe will check Nash if he has to. Unlike LeRoid, there will be no question about it... If Nash is killing us, he will get shut down.
That POS Dudley is going to get lit up. He already commented on being a Kobe stopper, and how he will resort to dirty tactics to stop Kobe. Namely going after his broken finger. Cant Wait for that little bleep to get his

GO LAKERS!!!

The only problem with the sweep is we now have to wait a full week until the next Laker game
We can use the rest, and it only helps the Lakers and if anything cools off any momentum the Suns are currently enjoying in this years playoffs. Amare is about to find out what it is like to play against a front line of three 7 footers with young legs and huge wingspans. Tim Duncan is a classs act and a great champion, but he is old. Its about time for "The Big Fundemental" to hang em' up.
Somehow, I don't think Kobe is going to forget what Phoenix did to the Lakers a few years ago in the playoffs. Its personal for Kobe and I am sure we will see at least one, if not several 40+ point games out of Kobe in this series.
The Boston/Cleveland series is shaping up to be a fun series to watch. The traditionalist in me would love to see Boston in the finals, especially with all of the Boston fans here in TS. Nothing would make me happier than to see a bunch of Laker logos as avatars from our over-confident, Laker hating friends from the Northeast

BTW, where is that Laker-hater fusionstorm?

Great win! Think Phoenix will get smoked in this round... LA in 5 (and im being nice)... As for the Celtics, I hope they can make it 3-2, would love to see the frenzy cavs fans will be in knowing they may falls short again!

I'm with you BigE... I still want revenge for that despicable game game 6 loss in Boston. But the Magic seem to be playing there best ball and most likely will be back in the Finals, no matter who they play in the conference finals.
As far as the Suns go, I hate them with a passion. I wanna crush them... no mercy. Lakers need to sweep these fools as well.
I'll throw together a few avatar's for Dana

Looks like Kobe wants revenge as well

It doesn’t matter to Kobe Bryant(notes) that three years have passed and he’s won a championship since then. He has a long memory. And just the mere mention of the Phoenix Suns brings a spark to his eyes.
The Los Angeles Lakers advanced to their third straight Western Conference finals by sweeping the Utah Jazz with a 111-96 victory on Monday night. Next up are the Phoenix Suns, whom the Lakers have beaten seven times in nine games since acquiring Pau Gasol(notes). But that doesn’t matter to Bryant. When asked if he recalled that the Suns knocked the Lakers out of the postseason during their last two meetings in 2006 and ’07, Bryant’s eyes filled with disdain.
“What do you think? You already know,” Bryant said, staring through his questioner.
The Lakers and Suns open the West finals on Monday in Los Angeles. Los Angeles won the season series 3-1 with an average margin of victory of 15 points. The Suns have won six straight games in the playoffs, including a sweep of the San Antonio Spurs, but the Lakers are considered strong favorites in the series.

Alright. I am a man of my word. I will put that avatar up at midnight tonight.
The Lakers put a serious hurtin' on my Jazz. They deserved the win.
You may find it funny, but I don't hate the Lakers. In fact, I root for them when they don't play the Jazz.
I will root for them go the rest of the way.

I really like that avatar myself. Maybe The Dude can make one with my face superimposed next to Kobe et al.
