Indeed, we were at 8th and The Strand.

Best:
"..and Solskjaer has done it!"
Terry missing THAT penalty
Maradona's '86 goal
Jordan's buzzer-beater against the Cavaliers, May 7th, 1989

Worst:
Ayrton Senna's crash
Man Utd v Liverpool recently
Pakistan v Australia (World Cup Final, 1999)

My best sporting moment would be Jerzy Dudek saving shevchenko's panelty in 2004 champions league final in Istanbul.

Gibson's homer in '88...

Magic subbing for Kareem in the NBA Finals against the 76ers...

Gretzky breaking Gordie Howe's record...

Bo Jackson running wild against the Seahawks on Monday Night Football, then homering as the lead-off batter in the MLB All-Star Game...

Schumi's first title with Ferrari and epic drives in the rain, esp. at Spa and Suzuka...

I will always remember those. The win last year in the CL was especially sweet, too.

1994 Hail Mary pass from Stewart to Westbrook. Colorado vs University of Michigan. I was a student at the time, at the game, and was in shock for the next few hours...

they even have a wiki page about it...

I have quite a few ......

1. Craig Biggio's 3000th hit. I was there and it was a night i'll never forget.
2. United winning the champions league in Moscow last year ....... My pops was there and has seen united win the champions league all three times they've done it.
3. The Rockets winning the playoff final against the Jazz to make it to the NBA finals. I was at that game and it was epic. My dad had season tickets but had not taken the option to get playoff tickets. We were last row upper deck about 15 people apart. I was 10 years old.
4. My first F1 race. I will never forget I skipped half a week of school and roadtripped to Indy with five buddies. I ran from the front gate to the main straightaway right as Montoya ripped by. I had never heard anything like it until that point.

Great thread. Just a few from my 40 yr sports addiction with a focus on NCAA Basketball NBA:

Bird vs. Magic- NCAA Finals- Hype better than game but important game in NCAA history

Walton & UCLA vs. Memphis in '74- 21/22- check the stats- best performance in finals history

Villanova's perfect game vs. Georgetown in '85

Skinny Freshman named Jordan hits game winner for UNC to beat Georgetown in '82 (still remember thinking that he's got to get the ball to Worthy)

Notre Dame ends UCLA's win streak at 88. Where is Dwight Clay today?

Whittenburg's airball beats Houston in 83

Great call on the NCAA hoops memories on the eve of this year's big dance.

I'd also like to add the following;

Villanova over HEAVILY favored Hoyas in the the 85 finals

Laettner's shot against Kentucky in 92

Tyus Edny's (UCLA) drive against Mizzou in 95

Duke beating UNLV in the final four in 1991. (That UNLV team was arguably one of the greatest team in NCAA history)
