Greatest Collegiate Athlete Leader

From a 38 yr. fan that has witnessed a lot through the years the answer is simply, Tim Tebow (I am also a UT Vols season ticket holder and booster).

he's great no doubt but this tebow worship is getting pretty tiresome. he seems pretty similar to a white vince young and we all know what happened to vince in the NFL. bradford is pretty great too and has a rifle arm.

also, i believe stafford will go #1 in the draft. he used to play for highland park here in dallas and i saw one of his games...that guy is a beast.

Here's my (USC-tinted) opinion:

Junior Seau was an ANIMAL at USC and a true leader. Same for Carson Palmer. I'd also have to give Brian Bosworth (the college version) the nod as an awesome team leader at OU. Vinny Testaverde was a pure winner at Miami. Finally, I'd have to credit Vince Young for damn-near single-handedly WILLING Texas to beat USC for the national title. What an incredible game that was...

Don't miss the point (remember I am a UT Vol fan). This is not about best pro prospect, this is about being a leader, putting the team on your back and delivering, time after time. For three years now, every defense knows whats coming and cannot stop him. When he speaks, he delivers. There are no teamates bashing him as a "fake"; the media does like him but trust me, they've looked for flaws and opponents can only make assumptions that he proves wrong in the games.

Vince Young played the single best game of any college QB, ever. Tebow has proved over the course of three years to be the best leader, ever.

I didn't miss the point. Read my post again - I said Young did it in THAT GAME. Also, only Seau turned out to be a good pro player. But when it came down to it, Palmer, Testaverde, and Bosworth made their teams better and led by example.

The same people that said that also felt that Matt Lienhart and Alex Smith would be great all-time NFL QBs, they also said that Eli Manning could never achieve what his brother did and would never be a great QB. I stopped listening to the ESPN hogwash a long time ago cause most of the time they don't know squat. Let him test the waters, we will never know until he tries.

Regardless Tebow was one of greatest QBs to ever play college football. He's a classy team player who put a lot of the responsibilities on his own shoulders, he carried his team all the way to the championship game and won. He made a promise and stuck with it. Hes the anti-Vick and will make a great player no matter what cause he cares about the game.
