Playoffs!?!?!?

Some week 14 pics from EA Sports for everyone (aka not me...thank you Kerry Collins) who made it to their respective playoffs:

Don't overlook Matt Cassel this week!
by Patrick Lamont, EA Expert
World renowned fantasy prognosticator "P-Track" Lamont is back again to tell you who to sit and who to start in your critical week 14 matchups...
Must Start Quarterback For Week 14

Matt Cassel – New England Patriots (@ Seattle Seahawks) – The guy my dad thinks could let Robert Kraft trade Tom Brady away is actually a pretty good start this week. His back-to-back 400 yard games seem like a distant memory after a horrendous performance against the Steelers but…the Seahawks aren’t exactly the Steelers now, are they? Randy Moss won’t drop passes this time, Wes Welker will get his 10 catches and the running game will be clicking, meaning big numbers for Cassel this week.

P-Track Predicts: 29/40 – 320 YDs – 3 TDs

Other Quarterbacks to Sit / Start...

Must Start Runningback For Week 14

Marshawn Lynch – Buffalo Bills (vs. Miami Dolphins) – Pretty simple really; the weather is getting colder in Buffalo and that means it’s all Marshawn Lynch from here on out. Lynch picked up big numbers on limited carries last week (16 carries/134 yards) and the slow start appears to be all but behind him. The touchdowns have been there most of the year but now Lynch owners should get the yardage numbers, too.

P-Track Predicts: 21 carries/120 YDs/TD

Other Runningbacks to Sit / Start...

Must Start Receiver For Week 14

Eddie Royal – Denver Broncos (vs. Kansas City Chiefs) – Brandon Marshall gets all the publicity, both in Denver and in most fantasy circles, but Eddie Royal’s numbers are really right there with him. And if you watched the Broncos play the Jets last week, you saw Royal make a brilliant play along the sideline for a 59 yard TD and Brandon Marshall drop two passes that even I could have caught. If Tony Scheffler’s ankle injury keeps him of the field, which as of right now appears almost certain, Royal should get almost twice his usually amount of looks from Jay Cutler. He’s a bit risky, but this should be a good game for Eddie Royal with Cheese (beat you to that one, Berman!)

P-Track Predicts: 8 RECs/110 YDs/TD

Other Receivers to Sit / Start...

Must Start Tight End For Week 14

Zach Miller – Oakland Raiders (@ San Diego Chargers) – Miller is still the only guy from Oakland you want anything to do with but for as bad as Oakland is, the big TE has been surprisingly reliable. When the only real threat to steal your looks is Ashley Lelie, you have to feel pretty good about your chances. Miller is always a lock for at least three catches (a mark he’s hit in four consecutive contests) and could actually find the endzone again one of these days.

P-Track Predicts: 5 RECs/60 YDs/TD

Other Tight Ends to Sit / Start...

I made it with a first round bye!

Here are my sleepers for the next three weeks.

1. Peyton Hillis RB Broncos - at Chiefs, at Panthers, Bills.
2. Pierre Thomas RB Saints - Falcons, at Bears, at Lions.
3. Steven Jackson RB Rams - at Cardinals, Seahawks, 49ers.

For some crazy reason, Peyton Hillis is still available in most Yahoo leagues! This guy is a stud who has scored over 18 fantasy points in each of the past 3 weeks. Drop Selvin Young and pick up Hillis immediately!

Check out these other very favorable matchups.

Patriots: at Seahawks, at Raiders, Cardinals.
Jets: at 49ers, Bills, at Seahawks.
Dolphins: at Bills, 49ers, at Chiefs.
Colts: Bengals, Lions, at Jaguars.
Cardinals passing game: Rams, Vikings, at Patriots.
Bears passing game: Jaguars, Saints, Packers.

Good news for Larry Johnson owners!

Larry Johnson - RB - Kansas City Chiefs - Dec 4 2008 1:04AM est
News: Larry Johnson's simple assault case has been postponed from an early December date to January 21.
Impact: L.J. is scheduled to appear for a second assault case Thursday, but his lawyer is looking to push that one back, too. Since Johnson was originally suspended one game by the NFL pending the outcomes of these two trials, he should be in the clear in terms of additional punishment until 2009 if the second case is postponed. KC's regular season ends on December 28.
