Too bad Bloomberg just handed his defense team a hail mary. That rant of his about how Burress should be hammered, NO ONE brings guns into my city, etc. They'll cry tainted jury pool / no chance he can get a fair trial / etc. for sure. They'll have to switch jurisdictions, but that'll just keep getting drawn out.

New York City is notorious for its strict gun laws. If you carry illegally in NYC, you risk going to jail. He should have known that. It was a bad risk.

First of all... you have to be a real choad to shoot yourself with a Glock. You can have a round in the chamber, throw it, run it over, whatever; and its not going to go off on its own.
