Cool Supercar Sunday 3/28 - 484 pics - featured marque "Lamborghini" + Zonda C12S and more

Today was another absolutely stellar day at the new Supercar Sunday location. Lamborghini was the featured marque, and there were many in attendance including one of just three Reventon's in the USA and a pair of Muiras - one a fully restored knock-out. Then there was the usually helping of Murcielagos & Gallardos, topped off by two Balboni editions, and then a brand new LP670-4 SV just for icing on the cake.

Additionally, a car I have always wanted to see and have known was in the area for 6-7 years rolled into the show mid-morning - a Pagani Zonda C12S! The color might not be to everyone's liking, but the car was stunning. For such a small company, the attention to detail and finish were quite spectacular. I was definitely impressed with it! Had a nice chat with the owner who's quite a car enthusiast and has even more at home in the 'garage' to share on future Sundays.

Other noteworthy cars in attendance included a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB in concours condition, a McLaren SLR, a Mosler MT900 and a Ford RS200. Talk about an incredible gathering of cars.

Man what a day it was!

That's just a small portion of the shots I took, and they are all uploaded at 1024x768 in my Flickr gallery:

Awesome stuff, E!

I'd love to see a Zonda in person some day, or an RS200 for that matter.

Damn It!! I was headed over that way, and got distracted by some great driving in the canyons and just decided to keep going - I should have gone!!! Thanks for sharing....

That white Balboni looks just like Roy's.

Both of those were 'firsts' for me yesterday, in addition to the MT900 which didn't need as much polishing as I'd previously suspected. I still don't like Mosler's all that much since the body design ripped off the McLaren F1 in many ways, but I'm not in a position to be a paying customer so what do they care?

I think the coolest part of the whole day was watching the guy who brought the Reventon let a little kids get in it for photo ops. I went over and told him that I wished I was 8 years old too.
