well, the small town life wasn't for me - first, it was Sarasota for college, then Boston, and now San Francisco.

i return home yearly to see my parents. we once lived in the middle of nowhere; now they are surrounded by communities on all sides, strip malls up & down the road, and all of the lakes are polluted.

when i have a family some day, and if the wife is agreeable (which is highly unlikely), doing split time between the Bay Area and Montana would be my ideal.

i like very dense places; or no one at all. none of this in-between stuff
