Speaking of which, I'm actually smoking a NC cigar that is quite peppery at the start - a La Aurora 107 Belicoso. Litto Gomez cigars are also a good choice.

I think I am going to buy this sampler, it gives a pretty good variety of smokes, I think?

Best of AJ Fernandez Sampler - Cigars International

Okay aficionados
I quit smoking cigarettes over 8 years ago.
I've never ceased to enjoy coaxing the flavor out of a fine cigar, savoring the fine tobaccos.
Y'all are doing an old habit of enjoying a good smoke justice.
My hitch, I won't smoke in the house & it's still a bit cool to sit out for too long merely to have that smoke.
Definitely looking forward to warmer temps, and savoring a few of the samples you've posted here.

So here's a question or three ...
Cutter or punch?
V-notch or round?
Where do you draw the line?

Thank you for the kind words. I use all of the above for cutting cigars, but the punch cutter is reserved mainly for the smaller sticks, from the toro size, down. I use a v cut on larger cigars, and round on all, depending on my mood. It is all what works best for you.

Speaking of Litto Gomez, I am smoking an LFD Ligero right now. Got it from the "Big Smoke NYC" this past December. Litto is a super nice guy!

the Alec Bradley Maxx the fix, will be here Monday. Reviews seem to agree that it has a very strong cocoa flavor. I am looking forward to this.
