you need a really good friend for that.

our local store has a waiting list - 312 people long. they get about 3 bottles in at a time.

i've got a hook up but, even then, i get about 2 bottles/year right now.

Ardbeg 10 or Laphroaig. And I've had the pleasure of sitting on the hill overlooking the town of Oban while drinking some Oban

Lately I've been sipping on a couple of good ones.

The first is Caol Ila, it's a great light Islay Whisky.

The second is Japanese single malt called Suntory Yamazaki.

Never would have tried these without the recommendation of the Scottish Bartender at my local

The Yamazaki is great. First experienced it at a local sushi bar. The Caol IIA...available in the states? Characteristics?

This online Lochs of Whisky shop is a true treasure for enthusiasts. The website is easy to use, with great descriptions and helpful filters to narrow down choices by flavor, region, or price. I discovered a delicious Islay Scotch I’d never heard of thanks to their recommended picks. Shipping was fast and came with a tracking number, which made the whole process stress-free. The bottle was carefully packed with no damage. I even got a discount code for my next order! Definitely coming back.
