Right you are and they were bad..... An engine this finely tuned and expensive should never run such a flat out stupid throttle body filter arrangment...
This setup is even worse for performance and I thought this was the best of the best..... That's why I asked about a with and without screen dyno sheet...
I mean if they are selling a 400 hp N/A motor don't you think there should be proof and proper safe guards for that engine..

This car is all about the attention to details, well it's those details that I'm looking at and I'm sure others are too.

These will never make 400 HP

For 200k and I've told Rob this several times I would own one in 2 blinks.

The car you guys are viewing specs out at $345k plus tax. You can buy a lot of car/s for that.

This car will drive a lot like a 993 I am sure but who cares it's Spectacular looking. They've redone the hips so well and set them down to the perfect height.

I hope someone gets one. I hope someone I know does. It's just great in my book and I would love to drive one.
Even at that price, it seems a bargain. I'd take a Singer 911 over any MP4-12C or 458 Italia. I don't think I've ever in my life seen a more perfect car than the Singer. Absolutely everything about it is astonishing.

Oh, and h20skier, you need to buy one. ASAP...

Ok Going back to the title on this post...Singer an Cosworth team up for the third Singer 911

Have a look at Cosworth's web site, pretty impressive not only their 50yr relationship in motorsports, but they are in aerospace, marine etc. I'm thinking their resume speaks volumes. Been there done that. This is the best of the best for what they are trying to achieve in this vintage car, I suppose they could shoehorn in a 2011 GT3 engine but that would defeat the purpose of the style of the car.

Plus there is more to achieving HP then a screens on velocity stacks. I'm sure if anyone buys a Singer, especially north of 200k you are going to get a dyno'd, blueprinted, tip motherFn top engine. When I built a 930 engine we continually had to go back to the dyno and figure out where to find the power, these engines are not like anything else, you cant just plug a computer into them and dial them in.

Cosworth

I'm with Carrera, this car tops my list!

I don't think anyone that buys one of these is going to be pushing it to the max and so I doubt any of that matters. What matters is the absolute joy of driving and enjoying such a fun and beautiful car. If you lose a touch from the screens or whatever, then so be it. I think it's gorgeous. But my comments don't matter. I can't afford one. So I will just enjoy how shiny it is for now.

With ~400hp (give or take) in a car that'll weigh ~2000lbs...I think she'll be good to go.
What more do you need?
