Turbo S engine might need a small overhaul

Now it smokes after I stopped to buy a couple things at the store (randomly). Parked the car for about 2-3 hours and turned it off. Came out started her up and it started to smoke quite badly for a few miles then it went away. It was chemical warfare and felt a bit embarassing

What was the problem Mike? My freind has his 993tt at the dealer now and they want to put on NEW turbo's due to the seal's going bad for $10,000!!!! Or rebuild the old ones for about half that plus instal.. This car only has 18,000 miles on it..

Hi fat cab,
It stopped doing it for this month, so I've let it slide for the time being. Worst case scenario, I was quoted to have the engine rebuilt. Might as well drive it until it goes poof should that happen in any event
My car also has similar mileage to your friends.
