ALMS and Grand-Am set to merge in 2014
**still a little new to the search function but I did try to find any previous threads on the topic**
So grand-am and the ALMS are going to form a united series in 2014. They say that they will announce the class structure before the end of the year but speculation is running wild.
many people believe that there will be no P1s but P2s are more likely to stay.
ALMS GT is definitely going to stay because of its huge popularity.
Somehow they will have to find a way to integrate the Daytona Prototypes into this new formula. Hopefully they will loosen up the aero-regulations and allow the cars to have higher horse power to work in better with the P2s(and P1s hopefully)
all thoughts are welcome.
