Who is going? I am thinking about making the trip this year.

Any suggestions on where to stay or hints in general for what to see and do at the track? Good photo spots?

 

I will definitely be there. Where to stay? It's a 24 hour race...stay at the track!

If you need me, I'll be sleeping in the grandstands...

 

My dad and I will be there Friday/Saturday/Sunday (we chose to book a hotel room this time around).

 

Is anyone else going? Anyone have any info on whether to use & where to rent race scanners. I've searched online and haven't found a lot of info on scanners regarding this race in particular. They're nice for NASCAR events, but not sure about this one. I also don't know if they'll be rented at the track like they are during those NASCAR events. Guess I'll find out Saturday regardless...
