My father and I are really interested in going to the US Grand Prix in Austin this coming november, and was hoping to get some info and feedback from anyone who has attended the event.

I'm trying to figure out the best place for tickets, hotel etc etc. The Circuit of Americas website hasn't release info for ticket packages yet, and was wondering if anyone knew if that was the best place to get them or if there are other websites that might have better deals.

Also any info on hotels and the such would be great appreciated.

P.S. we are not trying to spend a fortune here but also not trying to do it on the dirt cheap, if that helps with any recommendations.

As far as tickets go, you'll have to wait until COTA releases them. If you do want to go, you need to book now. Hotels get booked for sometimes hours outside Austin. The W hotel is very nice, and in a good location downtown. It is what I would recommend.
