The f-car is not on pace with the top dogs, and they don't want to compete to just get into Q3, they want to compete to get pole position. Look at how much Perez closed in on him towards the end...Alonso had a bleeping 7.6s gap and it got shaved down to 2ish until Perez made a mistake and slid off the track in the 50th lap.
It was an epic win, but the car is still a pos and Massa can kiss my ass. With a brand new chassis, he still couldn't do squat.

Like Alonso said, this changes nothing and shouldn't.

The guy has zero points to Fernando's 35. This is absolutely ridiculous.

GOING TO??? Couldn't even defend his position and just kept dropping down on the standings as car after car passed his ass like a fart in the wind.

My gut tells me that Sauber told Perez that they "need the points" as a way of appeasing their engine supplier, Ferrari. I'm sure that really got into his head and was part of the reason he put 2 wheels on the curb & went off track shortly thereafter. Being told not to go all out to win a race had to be disheartening, even though a podium finish is nothing to take for granted. Oh well. At least Ferrari has found Massa's replacement.
