But...dont get me wrong, this is a seriously asked question; If Red Bull isn't allowed to drive with their flexing wing, why on earth would Ferrari develop such a thing?

(I know, I know, you're not the spokesman for Ferrari (thank god ) but you usually know this kind of stuff)

So often in F1 it is the team that can innovate around the rules that gains an advantage.

Red Bull did that with both their wing and flexible floors.

The FIA is a totally reactive body. They never make proactive rules. So you can get ahead of them at times.

That is what Ferrari is attempting.

So you're saying that Ferrari are developing a wing that isn't allowed, but isn't allowed in a different way then Red Bulls wing, which will make them able to run it for a couple of races before FIA can ban it?
