Interesting tidbit:

Contrary to convention, the softer tyre has been nominated as the 'prime' choice this weekend with the harder tyre as the 'option'. The teams are expected to use mostly the softer tyres for the race to maximise grip and performance. This tyre is expected to be up to two seconds per lap faster than the harder version.

Sarah Hold reports that the Metallica concert was apparently called off because there weren't any safety barriers between stage and crowd. Also there were technical issues the band were said not to be happy with. Sarah asks: "I wonder if this means the Lady Gaga gig for Sunday will also be off too?"
