Well I booked my flight and I have reservations on a couch in Montreal so I guess I am all set. My travel schedule sucks, but at least I will be there damn it.

I get in early Thursday afternoon. I just have to get up extremely early to get there...and I have to go to Atlanta first. WTF?

 

We get there early in the evening on Thursday.

Lots of time between now and then, but it will go quickly.

For the first timers looking to cut down on expenses, I suggest getting together with a group and renting a house. You can really cut down your expenses say if it's CDN $2000 for the weekend split 5-6 ways. We've been doing that for 10 years now and probably wouldn't stay in a hotel in Mtl for the GP again. For next year, a bud from New Hampshire is bringing a whole leg of lamb and we're ordering steaks to feed the 7 of us for the entire weekend, putting the grill on the roof top deck at our place to good use.

I highly recommend Gibby's and the Gibby's cut! If there is a planned meet, I will do my best to make it.

Sure hope Ced doesn't find me next year.
