Nothing's wrong. He's on slicks on a slippery track. The rain that's fallen on the track has cooled off the tires, and without the slicks being hot it's like walking on ice. He's doing a great job though.

2 of them are, the #7 that passed him is on intermediates. You'll also notice that Lotterer's lap times are still competitive (slower by a second to the #7 that's 4 laps down, and still faster than the #8 and #9 that are 1 and 2 laps down). The Audi is fine as long as he isn't penalized for cutting the chicane.
