Speaking of experience, the Ferrari driver involved in the 2nd Audi accident today was a businessman and friend of Michael Waltrip's, not a true professional race car driver. That has to account for part of his dumb decision to close the door on Rocky.

You don't have to be a world-class driver to get a racing license. And SPEEDtv said that to qualify as a driver for Le Mans, you only need to finish within 125% of the leader's best lap. Considering the laps for GT cars are around 3:50-4:00, that extra 25% of wiggle room is plenty for most decent drivers to make the cut.
I'd be scared to death to drive a Peugeot or Audi prototype with some of these less-experienced GT drivers on the road, especially at night.
It makes me even more sick that they're driving Ferrari 458 race cars! lol
