Massive clusterf**k of a rolling start at Paul Richard
YouTube - Start Chaos 2011 Le Mans Series at Le Castellet

This is the start of the 2011 Le Mans Series at Paul Richard HTTT and the Audi RS5 safety car fails to pull in to the pit lane before the rolling start. This causes massive confusion and braking at the front of the field, leading to a number of the GT cars being knocked out on the first lap.

Sad that tens of thousands of dollars in repairs are now necessary because of one safety car driver's error. I'd love to hear what his boss says to him afterwards.

Well, he was driving an Audi. Evidently there were no other sports cars to hang 2" off the rear bumper from.
