Great post. The extremes on their body is intense. I wonder how it compares to a fighter jet? (I'll admit I am completely ignorant to fighter jets, so if it is no comparison, my bad)

Fighter pilots can experience up to 9g, so quite a big difference. The most g's are experience by the aerobatic plane pilots, though, where they can reach 10-12 g's during some maneuvers.

I've heard/read about him saying that when racing his heartbeat barely rises over its normal level.
