This is only logical when you look at F1 as a sport, rather than as a business. A Senna in a Lotus will get Brazillian eyeballs, it will get Spanish eyeballs, it will get teary, misty-eyed, er - eyeballs to watch and hope and urge him on ... unless he sucks, of course.

would have been the logical choice anyway, with today's testing results he's a no brainer. just hope for his sake that the renault is actually capable and not a testing mirage. remember the sauber last year?
