Webber confirms he broke shoulder with four races to go
#1

More details about Mark Webber's recently broken shoulder are emerging.
The Australian's new book 'Up front: a season to remember" claims that separate from his 2009 pre-season crash that broke his leg and left shoulder, the Red Bull driver broke his right shoulder in another mountain bike crash whilst he led the 2010 championship.
It is believed surgery on the "skier's fracture", sustained while on holiday in Australia prior to the Japanese grand prix at Suzuka, was the reason Webber missed the recent Pirelli test in Abu Dhabi.
He confirmed: "I was riding with a great friend of mine. Suddenly, he crashed right in front of me and I had nowhere to go but straight through the ears of the horse!
"Suzuka is a brutal track so it was a blessing that the Japanese weather gave me an enforced rest day on the Saturday, and a pre-race (cortisone) injection helped too.
"In the end, we got through the weekend all right," said Webber, who finished second at Suzuka behind his teammate and eventual champion Sebastian Vettel.
In Korea, Webber's hopes took a major hit with his crash on the slippery track, before he finished second - again behind Vettel - in Brazil.
And at the Abu Dhabi finale last month, Webber was uncompetitive whilst Vettel won the race and title from pole position.
But Webber said in his official book that he does not attribute losing the title to his shoulder injury.

Quit clowning on the sh!tty reporting.
He raced with a broken shoulder. Suzuka is one of the heaviest G circuits on the calender. Mark Webber truly is an animal when it comes to racing.
Too bad Red Bull Renault punishes him and makes sure Vettel's sh!t smells like sunshine and strawberries.

I can't help it, I've lost all respect for this overgrown Aussie man-chaild. With 4 races to go in what is very likely his best/only chance to ever become world champ, Webbo goes out and engages in dangerous physical activity, then hides his injury from the team.
Webber is such a moron. I would fire him on the spot.

Horner: Webber should stay away from bikes
Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner has said he is ‘disappointed’ Mark Webber never told him he fractured his right shoulder prior to the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, when he had another mountain bike accident, his second in as many years.
Speaking to Telegraph Sport, Horner also added that it would probably be best if the Aussie kept away from bikes in the future.
“I didn’t even know about the book, let alone the shoulder,” Horner told the 'paper. “It is obviously disappointing that Mark said nothing. It was an injury that did not appear to have any effect on his performance but all the same it would have been nice to know about it.”
So will Webber be told to avoid mountain biking now?
“Our drivers have an obligation to make sure they are fit,” Horner added. “It seems bikes don’t agree with Mark so maybe it would be better if he stayed away from them now.”

Haha, as if the tension at Red Bull wasn't bad enough - you throw a lack of trust onto the heap on Webber's part.
I honestly, wouldn't be surprised to see them cut Webber midway through the 2011 season if things don't go as well as they did in 2010. Sucks - but that's racing.
