Ferrari fined, referred to WMSC over team order allegations
Following their controversial one-two result at the German Grand Prix, Ferrari have been fined US$100,000 by the FIA after race stewards deemed they had breached sporting regulations. The case has also been referred to the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC).
Ferrari driver Felipe Massa, who had been leading the Hockenheim race, moved aside to allow team mate Fernando Alonso past on Lap 49. A few moments before, Massa’s race engineer Rob Smedley had told the Brazilian "Fernando is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?"
Although Ferrari maintained this did not constitute a team order, the stewards decided the Italian team contravened Article 39.1 of the sporting regulations, which regulates against team orders, and Article 151 (c) of the 2010 FIA International Sporting Code, which relates to bringing the sport into disrepute.
The decision will also be forwarded to the WMSC for its consideration, meaning Ferrari could in theory face further sanctions. this is getting more interesting.

indeed it does get more interesting, at the very least give Massa back his win and Alonso 2nd place. It is most insulting for (race fans ANYWHERE) there to be 8 races left and Massa only 31 points behind Alonso for this kind of rubbish. I can understand 2 races left and Massa not even being in contention but with the 25 points today that puts him in the top 6 above Kubica.
/rant
8 races with a gazillion points left and with McLaren not even upgrading as fast as Red Bull & Ferrari there is no guaranteed winner yet, put an end to this CRAP! WMSC. Make sure the whining unibrow doesn't kill motor sport with his childish behavior.

I can't remember being this LIVID in a long time, you have Massa who almost died for your darn team last year on the anniversary of that day, winning the race and then you give it to a child! (YES alonso has become a child in a man's body!) who only ever wants his way. I mean this just pushes me over the top, along with all the other stupid things he has done this season.

still new to f1 but have no more respect for ferrari; especially mr alonso! gotta admit the way they choreographed their responses in such as short time was classic!
I'm happy for Vettel, but am hoping Mark Webber takes the big prize tho!
