In the days when ITV broadcast F1 and had a decent website, there used to be a feature based on the Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 14 and 3/4 The Secret Diary of Adrian Newey Aged 43 and 3/4. It was subsequently dropped in favour of Michael Schumacher's Secret Diary which moved to PlanetF1. But now Adrian's back in the limelight and we've got access to his diary once again - and instead of avoiding Ron in the canteen, he's having fun with an F-duct......


...Mark's got a brilliant technique for keeping his radio messages from being broadcast. He makes sure he swears in every transmission. He knows that the FIA don't have time to bleep out the swear words and so they can't put it out for other teams to hear. During the race he told Christian to tell Seb to "****ing back off," but they couldn't broadcast it. A bit of Aussie genius....
