The two tracks you mentioned provide some of the most boring f1 races around and most purpose build f1 tracks built by Tikle (one of the few track builders allowed by Tsar Bernie) all end up basically the same.. Also I do not think someone in the US will be spending over a billion US$ to build a track in Texas like Bahrain did...

A little bit of reality about the bid..
Personally I can't see it happening as it just sounds all too flakey... F1 events take a lot of money to built/setup and run and offer a poor ROI in a strictly monetary terms but great at showcasing a city/country so all events in some way or another are basically under written by the government and I doubt anyone in the private sector would in their right mind try and build all the infrastructure to then run a GP in an attempted to turn a profit...
