If he had been treated like he wanted, he would have been like Sergeant Schultz:

I know nothing! I KNOW NOTHING!!"

Nah, with the eyebrow jedi on board.

They will have nothing to worry about.

Only time will tell.

And remember - it's a long season.

A win in Bahrain won't guarantee Fern a WDC.

I fully expect Ferrari to come out of the gates like gangbusters.

But McLaren, Red Bull and MBGP will have their say before the end.

Let's just hope it is a clean, scandal free season where nobody gets a shock absorber in the eye like last year.

It should be great.

Actually I am because there's no reason for him to screw over Renault. We all know why he was butt-hurt at McLaren.

agreed brother, F1 doesn't need any more scandals.

my point was teams don't trust him in keeping their secrets. showing a vulnerability has proven too costly so it's better to err on the side of caution and keep him in the dark. i honestly doubt he would have wanted to win that way anyway, say what you will about alonso but he knows he has the talent to win on merit.

As a fan of F1 I respect Alonso. He is a 2-time WDC. He beat one Michael Schumacher for both of those trophies as well.

Do I like him? No. But I don't like the Yankees either. It doesn't take away the fact that they are World Champs.

Fern doesn't need to cheat to win.
