McLaren the only option, says Räikkönen
Formula One news: McLaren the only option, says Räikkönen - GPUpdate.net Formula One
Kimi Räikkönen has told Finnish reporters that McLaren is his only option if he is to stay in Formula One next year. The 2007 World Champion, who moved to Italy's Ferrari from the British marque for 2007, would be racing alongside fellow Champion Lewis Hamilton should such a move be made.
Räikkönen first drove for McLaren between 2002 and 2006 after making his F1 debut with Sauber in 2001. Having come closest to the title when narrowly missing out to Michael Schumacher in 2003, Kimi made the move to Ferrari before clinchinh the title in his maiden season with the Scuderia two years ago.
With Fernando Alonso moving in to partner Felipe Massa next season and Räikkönen's contract therefore cut short by a year, the Finn talked to national broadcaster MTV3, claiming that - although he would enjoy the occasional rally as a hobby during the season - former team McLaren is his only option. Toyota has also made an offer although Räikkönen has responded by saying that the Japanese team is not an option.

Do it, please!
Macca needs to find the $$$ to pay him. Their driver line-up would be the best on the grid, which they will need if they want to stop the scuderia from winning another championship - Macca's drive to want the championship should be enough reason to sign the Kimster.

The anticipation is a bit nerve racking... I know its only a sport, but think how much more f*&king exciting would it be to watch... I jump off the couch as it is; darting across the room towards the television, bringing my elbow down in front of me, dropping halfway to one knee, with a shaking fist clenched, palm up towards my face, screaming, "YEEESSSSSS"!!

Even though I'm a die hard Tifoso I think Kimi should either go to Mclaren or RBR if they get Mercedes Power. I personally feel Kimi and Vettel at RBR Mercedes, Alonso and Massa at Ferrari and Lewis and Nico at Mclaren that way you'd have a 3 way fight for WCC.
