Because Alonso is a bum. /thread

 

Alonso is a two-time World Champion who is one of the best drivers on the grid. That is a fact that none of us can deny.

I soured on Alonso, however, during the Lewis fiasco and just can't look at him the same way again. I was especially turned off by how he threatened to help expose Stepney.

But he is an awesome driver and it would be very interesting to see him in a red car next year.

 

Well, if you go by specifics and stats. Alonso is currently the best driver on the track.

If you don't go by that, it's merely up for opinion.
