I thought I was getting a good deal when I snagged him for 10.40M last week. Oh well. Hopefully he'll pick up the pace just a little bit tonight.

I dropped Barrichelo and Rosberg for Webber and Alonso. Here's my analysis:
First, Barrichelo has podiumed twice, but not in first place. Second, he didn't podium this weekend. Third, Red Bull have clearly caught Brawn. Fourth, Barrichelo is worth about one more point than Webber. And fifth, Webber's value is creeping up while Barrichelo only appreciated .1 since China ended. So I see them valued as the same in terms of race performance, which means that Webber is actually undervalued right now in terms of Fantasy cost.
Until now, Rosberg has performed well in practice and qualifying. But he has not moved up from mid grid during the first three races. Alonso, on the other hand, is moving up and catching Brawn too. He has finished each race and is solid right now. He is no worse than Rosberg, and is improving. I chose Alonso over Kimi because Ferrari is just too unpredictable still. Although Kimi finished China, Ferrari's substandard pace combined with Massa's equipment failure makes me nervous. I will go with Ferrari as soon as they turn a good race.
One other prediction I have: if Jensen Button does not win Bahrain, watch his value begin to drop. He has enjoyed being ahead of the curve thus far. But, as I said before China, China was the first "transition" race of the season. Red Bull are clearly podium contenders now each week. I think Lewis will be too, as he transitioned in China as well. Kov transitioned. McLaren are back on pace. Toyota is a question mark, as Truli didn't finish and had a rough run in the rain. So you have at least three teams legitimately trying for the podium right now, whereas up until Malaysia it was all Brawn. The big question mark is how many races will it take before Ferrari join the fight. BMW continues to chase their tail. My two cents.

I can't believe that Ferrari is so bad this season. I have both Kimi and Massa and now Stephano is talking about scrapping the 2009 season and looking ahead to 2010! I honestly don't know what to do with my team. Both Kimi and Massa are valued too low to do any type of decent 2 for 2 swap. I could get Webber and Sutil or Vettel and have 3.8 m in the bank. I don't see how that really helps me at all. I guess I am just going to have to wait out Bahrain and see if the Ferrari boys can put something together. If their values can rise about 20%, I will likely dump them for a Red Bull driver and junk.
And to think I bought Vettel at 7.0 m and then dropped him for Massa. Ouch!
My risk does not look like it is going to pay off.

I bought Webber just seconds after the cut off for the weekend. ARGH!
It's grim that I'm looking at the idea of dropping Kimi and Webber to pick up a more on the pace squad. Here I am thinking Kimi may be on my squad for the entire season.
