So, these drivers are on the upswing:

Trulli

Kubica

These guys are dropping

Kimi
Massa
Lewis
Barichello
Alonso

 

Kubica is a must-buy in my book right now. He is going to gain at least another 1.0 m before the next race.

 

I dropped Kimi. here's what I have working now:

Massa
Button
Rosberg
Kubica
Heidfeld

 

I dropped Trulli, Rosberg, Kimi, and Bourdais from my team today. I got greedy when I dropped Kimi and Rosberg in order to pick up Fisi, Sutil, and Kubica. Then I dropped Rosberg and Trulli to pick up Vettel. We'll see what happens with these guys:

With a little luck, I can drop Kubica, Sutil, and Fisi and pick up somebody better later in the week.

 

Have you guys noticed something? Maybe I am late to the party but this seems to be a neat trick in the F1 League.

If you owned Rubens Barichello - like most of us did - you lost some serious value. He dropped from a peak value of 11.90 m to a current value of 11.10 m. I think the slide is over for now.

But you could have used this strategy and actually made money while keeping Rubens:

As soon as it became clear that Rubens was not going to finish in the points - e.g., when he couldn't get past Kov - you could have dropped him and banked 11.70 m. Then you could have bought him back today for 11.10 m. With that deal, you would have made .60 m on the deal.

This is one of the key strategies in the league that I have not been using to its full potential until now. You can actually make money off of your drivers that don't do well.
