F1 - The Official Team Speed F1 Fantasy League Discussion Thread

To pull eight I would have had to sell Kimi and buy Bordais and Fisi. Fisi fizzled last week. Bourdais finished in the points in 8th place! Wow, I just checked this and that's where he ended up. If he does well again this week, and depending on how I do, I may pick him up if I can. Sutil is the least costly driver, but he finished the race in 9th! I can't figure out why he's still the least popular driver with that finish. Anyhow, it's a new week guys and anything can happen.

That race last night was not a selling point to fans new to F1 around the world. Bernie better be charging a "guaranteed-race-will-get-rained-on" premium to the Malaysian government to keep holding that GP. As far as my Fantasy Team, I'm not drawing any new conclusions from that race. I switched back to Barrichello from KIMI. The rest of the mishaps (Vettel, Raikonen and Ferrari premature full wets choice) I attribute to weather, but such is part of the sport. If any team was most impressive this week, I think, it had to be Toyota. They finished 3/4, qualified well, and have not had any mechanical failures. Solid drive by TRU and GLO. Glock was impressive all weekend.

I don't like how there are an unlimited number of spaces for drivers. The way the Nascar one is setup is much better where every has 5 drivers and it's your job to allocate accordingly. The fact that someone wins a week just because they have an extra driver who sucked in the race but finished is kinda weak.
Anyone else agree or do you guys like this?

Fantasy results are up. I dropped 1 position to 13th overall. I feel pretty good about that given that only 3 of my 5 drivers finished and Kubica retired before completing a single lap. Erich gives up the top spot overall to our good friend Formula MD2009 (The Doctor). Funny because I had to talk him into joining the league. He said he didn't know enough about F1 to participate! Good job brother. Bologna GP (TS Username Not Known) won the week with one of the few scores over 600 points (647). Full recap to come.
Malaysia is not a good place for F1 racing. Thank goodness that it can only get better in China.
We have 2 weeks to set our lineups. Values are already changing dramatically. If you have not already changed your lineup, you may want to wait a bit for things to settle down. There were some great deals out there just after the race like Rosberg and Rubens - both of whom should crest double-digit values before the day is over.
I think everyone is ready for an F1 break after that LOOOONG night. I post a Fantasy recap some time in the middle of the week but will get the Banter thread going tonight.
Let's put the Malaysian GP behind us . . .

Hey brother, I don't have you on my list matching up TS members with their fantasy team names. What is your team name in the league?
